Parks Festival: Free Itineraries for the Park’s 50th Anniversary on Sunday, June 8

Share

As part of the 2025 promotional initiatives “Festival of the Parks” and “Summer in the Parks” by the Region of Tuscany, the Maremma Park will open its trails free of charge on Sunday, June 8. Additionally, there will be a special opening of the Collelungo Tower and the Abbey of San Rabano, which can be visited with a guide.

On this occasion, the Alberese Visitor Center (via del Bersagliere 7/9) will be open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

This is a special opportunity for the Park to celebrate its 50th anniversary, immersed in nature, allowing everyone to discover the beauty it has offered to visitors for half a century.

You must go to the Visitor Center to collect your free ticket. Our staff will be available to provide information and help you choose the most suitable trail: the Park offers many ways to explore the Mediterranean environment and appreciate its plants, animals, colors, scents, silence, and breathtaking views.

Whether alone or with company, everyone can choose the route that best suits their desire for adventure or relaxation: walks or hikes, on foot or by bike.

Please note: the maximum number of bicycles allowed on the Strada degli Olivi – Pinastrellaia and San Rabanoroute is 150.

This initiative is a concrete example of how to promote and enjoy the region’s natural heritage.

Park guides will be present along the trails to answer all your questions.

Finally, please note that Marina di Alberese can be reached by car (paid parking, limited spaces), by shuttle bus, or by bicycle.
