Some of the Park’s trails can also be explored by bicycle, provided that it is done with due caution and with respect for other visitors on foot or horseback.
Cycling is also the recommended way to reach the sea from Alberese, thanks to a bike path that winds through the Ombrone plain, next to semi-natural meadows where Maremma cattle and horses graze, and where various wild animals can often be spotted.
From Marina di Alberese, you can continue on to the bicycle parking area near the Collelungo Tower, from where you can access the wildest part of Collelungo Beach.
This area can also be reached by taking the more challenging, yet beautiful, Olive Tree Road through the Uccellina hills.
Please be reminded that bicycles are not allowed on the beach or shoreline, and must be parked in the designated bike racks.
